How to Order:

As of September, 2011, Red Bird Knits will be offering a selection of yarns - Robyn's Favourites - that represent the yarns that we work with, adore and in fact, can't live without. A slowly expanding and very limited inventory of yarns will be presented, and over time the choices will grow as we find more of these desert island yarns.

Payment will be by by credit card and PayPal through the PayPal site.

Shipping will be a flat rate of $6.00 for any order to any destination worldwide that is under $100.00. Free shipping will apply for all orders $100.00 or over (before taxes if any)

All Red Bird Knits patterns shown on the site are available for purchase and PDF download from Patternfish. A few of the more popular patterns are also available on Ravelry

Red Bird Knits, Patternfish and Ravelry accept PayPal. PayPal accepts a range of credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Discover and bank transfers.

Shipping: (updated September 9, 2011)

Shipping within Canada is a flat $6.00 for orders under $100.00 and free over $100.00 (before taxes). Parcels ship by Expedited Canada Post and are insured against loss for the full value of your order. Expedited can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on where you are in the country.

Shipping to the USA is a flat $6.00 for orders under $100.00 and free over $100.00 CDN. Parcels ship either by small packet air or by expedited parcel. Items under 1Kg (2.2lbs) and under $100.00CDN can go by small packet air. Anything heavier or of a higher value goes by Expedited (and it trackable). The only disadvantage to small packet air is that it is not trackable. Parcels to the US usually take about 10 business days

Express: I will also send via Canada Post's's Xpress Post upon request and for an extra charge. Please ask me for a quote.
I do not recommend using UPS, Fedex etc - brokerage charges may apply that can cost more than the value of the parcel

Shipping Time: Please note that parcels sent by air to the USA may take 10 business days or more to arrive as they go through US Customs.
Recent events have lengthened shipping times as items are checked more thoroughly.

Any fees, duties, taxes levied by your home country are not within my control. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what if any you will have to pay

Handling Charges: I do not charge a handling fee- ever
